If I do not change the marital status, does that cause any problem in getting the H1B visa. My wife's marital status is still single in her passport.
She is applying for her H1B visa now in the chennai office. She got her passport before marriage.
Does that create any problem while applying for H1B visa??

No. But while filling DS160, she need to mention her marital status as married.
