Receipt Number generation time

Is that true that US embassy is taking more time to generate receipt number .in december month....as in december there are more holidays ..?

and Anybody waiting..for... receipt number ?

There is a little delay not just because of the holidays, but also because of the huge volumne of H1B application that were filed recently due to the CAP closure.
