Query regarding H4 documents

Hello Everyone,

It is mentioned that we need to carry the wedding album for H4 visa. Is it fine if we carry a couple of photos rather than the complete album?

Generally they won't ask if you have marriage certificate issued by local govt. You can carry around 8-10 photos if you have. Since most of the ablums are heavy, its impossible to carry inside consulate.

How difficult it is to carry a small album having 40-50 photos, some showing the ceremony, some showing relatives, some showing parents.....

40-50 is too much for a visa interview. About 8-10 will be enough. They rarely ask for the marriage photographs. Marriage certificate is what is important.

I agree with you Shervin, just putting in perspective that that is hardly a difference of few 100 Gms of weight between 8-10 and 40-50 and should not be an issue with anyone. Well if they don't have 40-50 photos tha s a different matter. This is just my opinion.
