Hello Everyone,
I had my interview at Chennai Consulate for H1 Stamping. Below are the details:

Interview date: Oct 31, 2011 (221g green form requesting petitioner documents)
Interview location: Chennai
Docs submission date: Nov 8, 2011.

Was told the processing takes anything between 1-6 weeks. Waiting to hear back...

Model: In-House Project
H1B application: Premium processing, 7th year extension based on I-140
issued 221g blue(with AAP ticked). returned passport. retained original H1 approval notice(797), H1B filling document set, Employer related confidential docs.

email for passport submission: Nov 14th 2011
passport submitted on : Nov 15th 2011
email with questionnaire received: Nov 17th 2011
questiionnaire submitted on: Nov 21st 2011 along with invitation letter from employer and resume
AAP started on : Nov 29th 2011.

No update since then,,,, been ,more than 5 months and 2 weeks since interview. quite frustrating

nearly 4 months admin process clear got h1b

Hi,

I want to share my experience.

visa attended : 28th Oct 2011 @chennai consulate for H1B renewal
issued form : Blue form 221g and submitted document on same day.
status change to : Admin Process
Visa issued on 14 Feb 2012 after clear of Admin process.

All the best for those waiting for visa approvals.

No reply...No call to client or employer from USCIS.

Requested document sent: March 8, 2012
Now response yet.

I rarely see any post of New Delhi consulate, does anybody know why?

first h1b interw

Aug 12, 2011 Interview @ Islamabad - Counselor Officer kept the passports of me and my wife, said my overall profile is v impressive but she needs to further 'study' the case..she kept tax returns of my company in US but did NOT issue us any written paper/form. She also kept our passports, original petition, a few other copies like LCA, offer letter etc.

Aug 15, 2011 Contacted by the CO on phone for a few questions about my education (have a foreign degree). Said she was fine with overall information and would contact again if needed, if not then case will be put under further processing which can take from a few weeks to a couple of months.

Contact the embassy every month. No news about the visa since then.

No docs asked for.

Completed MS in Comp Sc from US, First Time H1-B Stamping, Full Time Employee, All documents returned to me including PP by the VO. No documents asked. No 221G Given or received in mail. I got to know about AP from DOS. Neither me nor my employer has been contacted since that day. No Updates whatsoever!!
I will complete 4 months by the end of his month.

Interview Date: 21st Aug, 2012
Completed MS in Comp Sc from US, First Time H1-B Stamping, Full Time Employee, All documents returned to me including PP by the VO. No documents asked. No 221G Given or received in mail. I got to know about AP from DOS. Neither me nor my employer has been contacted since that day. No Updates whatsoever!!
I will complete 4 months by the end of his month.

Consulate: Mumbai
I was in US for 4.5 years and appeared for H1b renewal stamping. Documents collected by VO during interview. Green slip was issued and passport was returned to me. According to DOS, my case is under administrative processing.

Final stages of processing

Hi,

My VISA interview date was Feb 4th and was told that my VISA is approved but needs administrative processing and was given pink slip. Today the status was updated noting that "Your VISA is in final processing" and status as "Issued".

Could anybody please let me know how long does it take from this stage to final delivery of my passport.
