  • H1B RFE with too many questions

    Hi All,

My H1B was applied in October and received an RFE last week.
That have asked too many questions (about 40) in the RFE to be answered and requested for too many documents. Why have they asked soo many questions?
Does this mean, USCIS is intending to deny my visa?

When responding to the RFE should my employer respond to all the RFE points?
    Is it mandatory?
Or is it ok that he responds to only the major points that he feels would concern my case (Like may be 50% of the RFE questions)?
If they do not answer to all questions will my visa rejection chances be high?

And after submitting the RFE, how long do they usually take to respond back?
Cos they took 3 months to send the RFE.
    I am really worried.

    Thanks.

All the questions and documents in RFE need to be answered. If not, the chances of rejection is high. It will take 2-3 months to get the result after responding to the RFE in normal processing and 15 days if you upgrade to premium.
Not a legal advice. Use of this information is strictly at your own risk.

In most of cases not all the questions come from USCIS, but are expanded by immigration attorney. So check with attorney and see if they can provide you actual RFE that was send by USCIS.
