  • 2 companies filing my H1B visa extension

My H1B visa is expiring on 19th feb 2012. I have h1B with company A and they are going to file my H1B extension by 25th Jan,2012. Meanwhile I got good job offer from company B . Company B will transfer my Visa and file visa extension. I do not want to resign from company A until I get confirmation from company B for H1B transfer and Visa extension. now I have couple of question

    1) what is the min time USCIS take to do H1 transfer ?
    2) In my current condition both companies will file my Visa Extension . is this legal ?
    3) Can anyone suggest any better option so that I can join company B before my H1B is expired and ny Visa extension is also filed.

Please note - company A will not do premium processing for me but company B will do.
