  • Premium processing time

    Hi All,

My petition was filed on 14 Nov 2011 by my employer as a normal case. Now due to urgent requirement they have changed it to premium on 19 Jan 2012. My centre for processing is Vermont. Please do let me know how much time it idelly take to do it in premium? And also is there any contact number to know our status?

    Many thanks,
    Nit

15 days from the date when the case was upgraded to premium (assuming there are no RFEs). The lawyer / employer will get an email from the consulate once the case gets upgraded and there will be enough information to track the case status online and how to contact USCIS. If you don't get a result within 15 days, then contact USCIS. There is no point in contacting them now.

If your case was upgraded to premium on 24th, then the 15 days end on Feb 8th and not on Feb 5th.

Hi Nit , thank you very much .

ask your lawyer to attach a fedex envolope along while sending RFE docs to USCIS so that there are high chances that you get the approval in 2 days .

Nit , i do know of ppl on that ,find below QA from USCIS website on premium processing

How can I get the results of the adjudication faster?

You may include a postage paid and self-addressed courier delivery slip when filing Form I-907 and it will be used to return the results of the adjudication.
