I was working in US on L1-A from 2005 till June 2011 and and my wife was working for an American company under L2. Meanwhile we moved back to my home country in June 2011 and my wife also got her H1 petition papers sponsored by her company. She has not gone for stamping yet. we are planning to move back to US in June this year and we hear her company is planning to close her division before that (though the company is doing extremely well). In this scenario, can she travel with me as L2, then later try for a job in the US and get her H1B transferred to the new company ?
