New H1 visa and L1 B extension applay parallelly

My L1B getting expiring on 6th August, 2012, we have observing currently lots of L1 B rejection and so my employer applaying for New H1B and parallelly L1 B extension for me. Please let me know this will creates any issue or not?

Since both petitions are filed by the same employer it should not be a problem.
