PIMS verification for h1b

Hello,

I have my H1B visa stamping on March 1st @ New Delhi.

Do I need to do anything for 'pims verification'? I have no idea about PIMS. Can anyone please give me more details? Thanks in advance!

You can write a letter to VFS helpdesk or the Consulate @ New Delhi including your petition number or a copy fo your approved petition and request them to see if the petition exist in the PIMS database.

Update from VFS regarding PIMS...

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

Thank you for writing to us,

This is to inform you that an applicant cannot check the petition information management system (PIMS) in advance. The officer will verify the details the day of the appointment. PIMS updates usually take 2-3 days; there is no way to expedite this process.
