H1B stamping appointment in islamabad paksitan

Hi,

I am currently in the US working in the silicon valley on H1B. I am going to Pakistan (Islamabad) to get married next month. The immigration attorneys at my company have provided me a package which has all the necessary documents to prove my status and employment.

I understand that certain cases take a long time before the visa is stamped.

Can i schedule an appointment in advance (while im still here in the US) for my visa interview? Do i have to do that through American Express or through the consulate itself?
