  • h1b query - 221g green form

    Hi,
I appeared for H1B interview in Nov ,2011 and received my passport back after 3 months with no stampping along with 221g yellow form .Staus is....

"Your application is being is returned USCIS for further review.Upon completion, will contact your petitioner"

I am not clear about this status. What does this status mean?
anybody got stammping done after this status?
what will be the timeline ?
anythig to be done from my side?

    Thanks,
    Pavan

It means, the consulate has returned your petition back to USCIS for further review and revoke if necessary. USCIS will further investigate your case and will decide whether to keep or revoke the petition. In case their administrative processing is positive, they will inform the consulate to issue the visa. There are people who have got positive response back from USCIS after the petition is send back from the consulate. Search and read those posts in immihelp.
