Move to new client while H1 amendment with current client is in process?

Hi,

Can we move to new client while H1 amendment with current client is in process?

I have been working with the current client from last 5 months. My employer has applied for my H1 amendment(change of client) 2 months back. The status fo H1 amendment is still in 'Initial Review'. At this point, can I move to new client or wait until the current H1 amendment is approved and then move to new client?

I heard that it is not advisable to travel when H1 amendment is in process. Is it not advisable to move to new client too?

You can move as long as a new LCA and H1B amendment is filed to match the new work location.
