H1B Approval With I797B and I94

Recently I got my H1B approval with form I797B and Also with I94.
Confused about the status since I797B is generally not accompanied by I94.
Am I eligible for COS while staying is US?
Is there any person with such a case who has done COS while in US?

As long as the approval notice has an I-94 attached, you are all good. If you were on a different status before, then your status will change to H1B as of the I-94 effective date. You should be working and getting paid as of the H1B effective date.
