    Hello,

I have a job offer from an Employer in US and they got my H1b done. The offer letter says that the position is based out of home office. This job requires travel to client location. When the LCA was filed, they named a client in CA and based on this the LCA was approved.

I have some questions about this:

    1. Does it mean that I can not set my base(home) at any location in US other than California( as per LCA)?

2.Can I rent out a place in Austin and travel to Cleint location on weekly basis. Whn I travel to CA, I will stay in a Hotel.

    Thanks!!

Your LCA need to be filed and approved for the location where you work. If you will be working in location A for half the month and at location B for the rest half, then two separate LCA need to be filed and approved. The same with the H1B as well. While filing form I-129, the primary and secondary work locations need to be metioned in I-129 and it should get approved. If location A and B are in two different states, then appropriate taxes need to be deducted.
