thanks shervin143 for your reply. do we need to submit original 797 for H1 transfer , because i submitted my original 797 to US consulate as requested in my 221 g green slip.so do i need to wait to transfer my h1 until my 221 is finalized.

Original I-797 is not required for the H1B transfer. A copy is enough.
