VFS resident of india question/ Plz Help

Hey guys

So I am indian citizen and i was born and raised in saudi arabia. My family is orignally from gujarat and the permnanet address in my passport is of gujarat. I am applying for my H1in mumbai
in VFS scheduling the first question they ask is resident of india/ indian in usa

Now i havent lived in gujarat in many many years so i have no way of proving residence in last 6 months

and there is no other option except indian in us

wat am i supposed to do ? The longest i have stayed in gujarat was in 2000-2001 when i was in boarding school

You can answer Resident of India and take the visa interview at any U.S consulate in India.
