Hello Everyone

I had my interview date: 7th March

Got a Blue slip for my H1b application.

Already working for a direct employer in USA for past 2 years.

Documents submitted 22nd March

Waiting for positive results......

Does anybody know how we get the response from consulate.. like email, mail, sms ?

When do they send the documents back to us which we submitted with blue slip at vfs?

How soon can we apply for another H1b?

221 g issue is because of the employer or employee?

221g - Green Slip - Chennai Consulate - 5/9/2012

hi all ,

I got a 221g Green slip at the Chennai consulate today , my interview lasted about 45 mins [ EVC model --- client being a reputed company- fortune 1000 ] .. with all sorts of questions ranging from where you work and where you stay. In-spite of this i was asked to wait 15 mins .. my original i797 taken and the passport given back to me .. the 221g green slip i was given had pretty much everything checked on it on the left side .

Has anyone actually had a similar experience and any tips would be greatly appreciated. I really do not understand the thought behind this senario.. i have been working/staying in the usa for the last 6 yr and have a approved h1b from the uscis valid for the next 3 -4 yrs ... not sure why the consulate will like to replicate the efforts and have us go through this pain again.

Well another thing i do not quite really understand and what bothers me the most is that they had the following checked on it " internal project development details " . I wanted to know if anyone had a clue as to what needs to go there. as i have a h1b for the [ evc model ]

The INTERNAL PROJECT DEVELOPMENT part needed a bunch of sub items on it to be provided in detail to the consulate and it would be good if anyone who has already done this can share it so that we atleast get an idea of what is required.
