  • New H1 Stamping in Canada from L1 Visa

Dear Immihelp team members, it would be great if anyone who had done new H1 stamping in Canada transfered from L1 Visa.

I see many posts asking for a confirmation if we can go for stamping (Change of Status from L1 to H1) - but if anyone knew any friends who had got stamping - can you please reply back.

Even a single line reply would help me out a lot.

Is this your first H1B stamping? If yes, then you should get it stamped from your home country. If you previously had a H1B visa stamped in your passport, then you can go to Canada for the H1B stamping, but not Mexico as change of status stamping is not allowed in Mexico.
Not a legal advice. Use of this information is strictly at your own risk.
