  • With H1B + 1 year corporate experience, easier to change job?

I have 1 year corporate experience and an advnaced business degree. With H1B from current employer, is it easier to find anohter job?
My current employer is going to get me H1B but they are using the H1B to blackmail me. It's getting nasty. I actually found a decent job in my home country. The tough choice that I have to make is: put up with them and find anohter job later? or simply go home and bask in my decent job? If the chance of getting a new job here is good, there is reason to stay.
Are employers more likely to hire me with H1B in hand?

If you have a copy of your H1B approval notice, then any prospective employer (who has a job matching your skills) can file a new H1B petition using the CAP from your previous H1B approval notice and request an immediate start date. They don't have to file the petition under a new CAP and you don't wait until Oct 1st to start (unless the petition is filed under the 2013 CAP. In which case, your H1B start date will be Oct 1st or later).
Not a legal advice. Use of this information is strictly at your own risk.
