h4 to f1 visa stamping

Hi Folks i need your help... my wife is currently on H4 visa and she just got admitted on university for fall 2012 semester. Our main question is should my wife stay here and apply for COS to convert to F1 status or should she go to india for F1 stamping?Would we face any chances of denial while stamping?? I will be sponsoring her studies... any opinions would be welcome. Thank you.

Both are valid options. If she is not planning to leave the country any time soon for any other purpose, then a COS is the best option. Whenever she leaves, she can get the F1 stamped to return back in F1 status.

No one can predict whether she will get her F1 stamped successfully or not.
