  • H1b expiring but marriage based GC is filed...can I work and stay?

    Folks,

My H1B is expiring on June 1st but we have filed my GC ( concurrently filing of I-140 and I-485) based on my marriage with a US citizen. Finger printing has been done, we are waiting for an interview.

    What are my options here?

    Can I still work?
Can i ask for an extension based on my GC filing?
Can I stay in US post the expiration date?
Can I apply for EAD post my filing so that I can work?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Is your 6 year son H1B ending in June? You can file the 7th year extension based on the approved I-140. File it asap so you can continue to work.
