In December 2011, my H1B application was filed by my company under 'OUT OF CAP' category. Since I have never travelled to US before , the application have been asked for request for more evidence to provide my previous H1 number in April 2012 by the USCIS.
I have requested to close the previous petition filed in Decemebr 2011 as it is irrelevant now.
But currently a fresh H1 for the year 2012 has been filed in April but I am yet to receive the file no.
Could you please tell me if the previous petion has any impact on the fresh petion filed for the year 2012 in April.
