  • H1B premium processing

    Hi Everyone,

I have applied for H1b transfer on April 25th, today (may 24/2012) haven't got reciept notice/EAC no.
When I tried to reach them, I got to know, due to high volume of petition my case haven't feed into system yet and it might get delay for 2 to 4 weeks.

Currently, I have ONLY FEDEx receipt with me. Is it possible for me to trigger Premium processing?? I am in despirate situation and need to get approval notice at the earliest.

Please share your experience and guide me what to do next..

    Thanks, VV

If there is a receipt number, then upgrading to premium is definitely possible. If the petition is not even picked up yet, I am not sure how USCIS wil manage to identify your documents to upgrade the case. If there is a high volume of petitions been filed, then it might be hard for them find your documents without the receipt number. I personally haven't heard of anyone trying to upgrade from normal to premium before receiving the receipt notice. Ask your lawyer to check with USCIS to see if this is possible.
