H1 Receipt Number

Hi All

One of my friends got her H1 (for FY2013) receipt number from her employer today and she can see the status on USCIS website as Initial Review. So the receipt number is valid. But when she asked for the scanned copy of the receipt notice the employer refused. The question is: Since the application status does not show the name of the employee, is there any way to find out if the application is filed for her only? Its just because she does not trust them.

There is no other way. If she doesn't trust the employer, then she should look for a better one. An employer who is not even willing to share a copy of the receipt notice will never help her with other important documents when needed (especially when there is an RFE or when the consulate asks for any documents from the employer by issuing a 221g).
