  • Time line for getting visa stamped after USCIS officer visits to the office

    Dear Seniors,
I would like to know how much time it will take for visa stamping after the USCIS officer's visit to the Office in US. In my case they visited in 3rd week of May'12 in US.It has been almost 5 and half months since I attended interview the passport is still with US consulate.

    Thanks

Unfortunately it is not predictable. If USCIS is satisfied with your employer, they will issue a re-affirmation of the petition. You will then have to take that re-affirmed petition back to the Consulate and then they will issue the Visa.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.

      Sir,
Whether I will be required to submit the re-affirmed petition personally to the consulate.Since the passport is already with Consulate.

      Thanks
