H1 visa Stamping

Hi,
I am in US. I got my approval I-797 last week.
While filing an H4 extension for my wife & daughter, i came to know that if we apply for same visa class as it was initially then under new interview-wavier features, we dont have to visit consulate for visa interview.
My questions is:
Since i am in US, can i send passport by courier for stamping, & apply for visa stamping under interview-wavier ?
Is it possible ?

It is illegal to send the passport over courier from one country to another. The consulate will decide whether the candidate is eligible for VWP. If they ask the candidate to appear for a personal interview by giving a date and time if needed. You will be in trouble if that happens.
