  • H1B by an engineering company for a non-engineering student

    Hello,

I have done my B.Arch from India from a reputed college and Masters in Architecture from a good State university.

I am planning to move to a tech company (I have decent knowledge in that too) and they want to hire me.

But that is a software company and I have Masters in architecture (comes under design). Can the tech company legally file an H1B for me?

    Thanks,
    Priyanka S
