H1B - moving to another state

Any guidance is much appreciated!

I'm on H1 via. I'm planning to change employment and move to another state, in the middle of the month. Can I continue to reside in the state where I'm currently residing till the end of the month? Also, do I need to be on the rolls of my current employer on Sunday if I'm starting my new job on Monday?
