Visa stamping when 6 months left in I 797

Hi,

My visa stamping is expired and i am travelling to india in Aug 2012 and planning to appear for visa stamping in third week of August. My petition expiry date is 15-MAR-2013. Will there be any problem in stamping because i will have only 6 months left in my petition when i appear for visa stamping interview?

No problem. Go ahead for stamping. You will get new visa valid up to march 13 only(when your I797 will expire)
