h4 visa appointment

Hi

I am trying to take appointment for H4 visa for my wife. After filling out name, address, email etc, its taking to second page where its asking WAC number and petitioner's name and principal applicant's visa type. Now, my question is am I the principal applicant? Also, there is a note in the bottom
saying that "Note : Your spouse and/or children may attend the same visa interview with you. In fact, the Consulate prefers that your spouse and/or children attend the same interview with you EVEN IF THEY PLAN TO TRAVEL SEPARATELY AT A LATER DATE"
Now, does this mean I have to be present for my wife's H4 interview?

Kindly let me know. Please give me some tips for the interview if anyone has any recent experiences in chennai US consulate

Hi,

You are the principal Applicant in this case and you don't have to attend the interview along with your wife.

You need to fill out your petition details.
