H1b stamping question!!!!

Hello Guys Please help with my H1b stamping queries...

My current H1b petition and stamping is valid until 31 Dec-2012..I got H1 approval for only 15 months instead of 3 years because of contract position.
Now my company has extended my H1b petition which is valid until Dec-2013..
I need to visit india for my wedding from 18th Nov to 15th dec..
My visa is valid until 31 dec-2012 and petition is approved until Dec-2013.
My question is while going to India do I need to visit US embassy for Visa renewal....
I don't want to visit us embassy because of 221g issues..
For my first stamping I got 221g blue slip and it took 4 months to get clearance..
Would be any issues at port of entry (I have valid visa until 31 dec-2012 and H1b petition approval until dec-2013)

You will be allowed to enter U.S as long as the H1B petition and visa remains valid. Usually the I-94 at the POE is issued still the petition expiry date (assuming your passport remains valid for more than a year as of the date of your entry). Only in very rare cases, depending on the officer at the POE, the I-94 is issued till the visa expiry date.
