I 797 (Now Company B) - Visa previously stamped from Company A

Hi Senior, My friend he worked in USA for company A [With his H1B], Later the switched to another Company B.
He got I 797 Approved till 2013 wit Company B, Now he is in India [With Company B].

Can he travel back to USA with Company A- visa/ Company B[Approval Notice] or He has to go for Visa Stamping [Company B]?
