H1B approved but Project terminated due to Budget issues!!!!!!

Hey I got H1B approval for One year until 2013.But after approval my manager told me my project will be terminated by end of this month due to budget issues.will this cause any problem. is this budget issue is a good reason if any one from USCIS officer comes for any verification?

Has your visa been stamped? Are you in US or in India ? If you are in US then either you will get a new project (in which case an H1B amendment would be filed) or travel back - in either scenario you wont be adversely affected by the USCIS officer visit, which, FYI, happens only in a small minority of random cases, it is not a set procedure that has to happen

I am in US only.I have completed my OPT period and Just applied for H1B first time.

If your job offer is still valid then the employer will search a new project for you and handle the amendments
