Visa Stamping Question

Hello ,

I want to clarify with all of you regarding the H1B Stamping,i got my first H1 Approval Last year with 1 year approval from 2011 to 2012 September,recently i got my Extension for the next 3 years from 2012 october to 2015 Sptember with 3 years i-797 approval.

My question is if i attend the Visa interview before September 2012 with New I 797 ,can i re enter the usa WIth the New i -797 Stamping.

please provide your Comments,I really Appreciate your help

Yes. You will have to carry both your old and the new approval notice to show at the POE and make sure the I-94 is issued as per the newly approved petition (Check before you leave the POE). Make sure your passport is valid for more than a year.

There will no start date in the visa stamp. There will only be an end date.
