Is "Pending status" different from "Administrative Processing"? H1B visa

Hi all,

It almost 4 months since we have last submitted documents.
During my calls to VFS and DOS, I found one difference in last couple of weeks.

Earlier they use to tell me that my "H1B is under administrative processing"

Now they are telling me "its under pending status"

Please tell me, Is "Pending status" different from "Administrative Processing" for H1B visa

No difference. They are the same.
