H1B clarification..

Hi,

I currently have a H1B stamping on my passport and working in the US. Now i have changed my employer and have a new approved I797.
If i travel to India, should i get a fresh H1B visa stamping for the new employer. or can i travel back to the US by showing the old H1B visa stamp
and latest approved I797 documents.

Any clarifications on this is highly appreciated.
