H1 extension. Main applicant petition approved. No updates for dependents

Hi,

My employer filed my H1 extension petition and with the same they send 539 form for my two dependents.

I have got receipt number for my petition and while checking status on USCIS site, it shows my petition is approved. Though my employer has not got receipt number for my dependents' case.

Has anybody faced this situation?

Can there be rejection for dependents' visas even my petition has got approved?
