H1b transfer when H1b extention in process

I am waiting for my H1b extension applied in month of July. Now I got an offer from another employer. I have also got the project and client letter. Pl suggest if its possible to apply transfer before getting extension approved.
Even if there is a way, What if the transfer gets approved and there is a query in extension process which normally is the case generally.
