Hi,
I am currently on H1B visa from employer A and working in state A. It will expire on 31st Jan 2013. My spouse is working in another state B . Now I want to join Employer B which is in state B . I have the following questions:
1. I haven't started looking for new employer. As my I-94 expiry date is closer, is it advisable to search for new employer B and move to state B now? My concern is searching for new employer and LCA will take 1 or 2 months. Then, Is the remaining 2 months time enough for applying extension?
2. Should I wait till my current employer process extension?
3. can LCA be processed after I94 expiry and while extension decision is not declared (while continuing with employer A , If there is a project in state B with employer A)?
