Consular approval without i-94
Hi Immihelpers,
I recently movied from company A to company B. I started working for Company B as soon as I got the receipt number. After working for about a month with company B I got an H1B approval which was consular(with a void i-94). Company B is a big IT services company. The cleint I was working with had also changed meanwhile and the location of the new client is different.
Which meant I needed to get my LCA ammended which company B will be filing under premium.
Company B has also filed for my H1B amendment which I am not sure is needed. is this needed since I am only going for a different client of Company B?
Is it better to go for Regular processing or Premium processing?
How much time would the LCA amendment and /or H1B amendment take?
I had waited about 3 weeks in the US after I got my consular approval. This was because of some issues with my passport. I left the country the very next day the passport modification was done. Will this be looked upon as a major violation during my Visa interview?
