L1 to H1 COS Help

HI,

Iam currently on L1 visa and another company filed by regular processing H1 COS visa on June 8th. Still the status is Initial Review and centre is Vermont. My Query.

1: I have to serve 2 week notice with my current employer, What if the visa gets approved after oct 1st, what would be the effective start date?
2: Will i get enough time from date it gets approved to effective date so that i can serve the notice?

-- No, you will need to join H1 employer immediately
