    H1b visa when can we enter USA

    Hai my residency is begining from july 1st. my lawyer says if i take visa from july 1st I can only enter visa 10 days prior to that. my orientation starts on 23rd june. Also I want to go much earlier so that I can look for a house etc.
    Is there a rule like that. What is the solution for me
