I-130 Help

I have filed a petition for my parents in September, who are on visitor visa here in US which is expiring on jan 21, so should they go back or stay here while the visa becomes available, do I have to fill the form I-485 when the petition is approved, PLEASE HELP!!!

You can file I-485 now itself and they don't have to go back. You don't have to wait for I-130 approval.
