  • Deportation status

    Hi
I have a question regarding deportation. My sister was put under deportation status due to 204(c). She is applying to become a resident in Canada and they need a clearance from the FBI and Criminal justice here. Is this consider a criminal case? Is it gonna affect her record with FBI or Criminal Justice?
    Please let me know
    Thanks
    Jay

Immigration violation from another country that led to deportation proceeding would not have any negative impact for her chances to be admitted as PR in Canada. it is not a murder ,nor an atrocities against one's life.It could be classified as a criminal thing with another classification. It is definetly not going to hurt her chance to being admitted in Canada as Permanent Resident.
However, consult a Canadian attorney for more details.
