I would like to know if it is necessary for my employer place an ADD in the newspaper in the State I am currently working in order to start my Green Card process.
Considering that the Company is based in Texas and they already place ads every week for the past couple years, recruiting people all over the USA and the World to work anywhere in the US.
They are claiming that since I work in "Alabama" the add must be placed there for 6 months before stating the Green Card process.
Is this True???
Why can't they just use their regular ADS that come out in the Texas Newspaper? We will probably have to relocate anyway.
