Traveling outside US as GC holder

Hello,
I have GC since 9/2016.
I don't have reentry permit.

I'm staying outside the US for 10 month. I visited US last week for 1 week.
My question is, the 1 year traveling as GC holder counter was "reset" with my last week visit? I can stay outside US for another 6 month or 1 year without special questions?

Why not just apply for a re-entry permit?

I agree with Azbik. Save yourself any future hassles and just apply for re-entry. It's not as complicated as making your own music or something lol Now that's hard I mean making type beats is easy but traveling outside and re-applying can be confusing. Whether you are a music producer or not.
