My wife is Greencard holder and she has filed immigration for me under F2A category. Do we required to get ITIN number for me and apply for it with W-7 form for her submission of tax. who actually required to get ITIN number i am confused with explanation here and in IRS sites.
at present i am in India and waiting for my Interview call for F2A category.
It is said that you cannot get ITIN and SSN together so if i have to get ITIN number then do i get the SSN number when i get my immigration done and get my GC. its very urgent please help me
