US Income Tax- MA-No Health Card
Hi,
I had worked in US last year for 2 months(Jan and Feb) in MS(Boston), during that time of the year I had health Insurance but the card was not posted to my US address until I was there.
Now, while filing the tax return on turbotax it is asking me to enter the policy subscriber number which I don't have.
Also, I am not associated with the organisation to which I was employed while in US.
Turbo Tax had 3 options regarding health Insurance
1. having the health Insurance for the whole year.
2. Health Insurance for part of the year.
3. No insurance throughout the year
For now I have selected 1 option.
Which option should I choose and how shall I proceed with tax filing?Shall I skip it and not provide the policy no?what actions could IRS take?
