I am on a H1B visa with a priority date of OCt 2009 (EB3) and I have the opportunity to apply for an E-2 visa. Can i keep my priority date is I decide to go this route? also, what steps do I need to follow (and how long) after the priority date becomes current.
On the other hand, if i decide not to apply for the E-2 Visa; Once my priority date becomes current, how much longer do i need to stay with my current employer. Thank you very much.
